Our team of renovation experts implemented increased health measures to safely complete two Brisbane Aged Care facility room upgrades.

Two adjacent Aged Care room renovations were nearly finished when Australia began ramping up its Covid-safe procedures.

“We worked closely with our client to ensure we could deliver an excellent product in the safest possible way,” says Project Manager, Michael Taylor.

Sensus monitored government regulations and collaborated with our client, adhering to the facility’s specific procedures.

“In addition to the Australia-wide measures, we listened closely to our client to met additional health and safety requirements for their specific facility,” says Michael. “This included using a dedicated path in-and-out of the building, utilising a particular lift, avoiding contact with residents and using alcohol-based hand sanitizer.”

Our team of building experts worked efficiently to safely complete the renovation.

• New wall linings
• New floor coverings
• New custom en-suite cabinetry
• New custom fixed bedhead/movable side table and built-in wardrobe cabinetry
• New floor to ceiling tiling in the en-suite
• Full internal repaint
• New fittings and fixtures in the en-suite
• Air conditioning installation
• New window furnishings
• Significant improvements to plumbing compliance and electrical compliance – including fire rated ceiling compliance
