Just before Christmas 2018 a severe hail storm rolled into the picturesque Clarence Valley in Grafton, NSW. Hail the size of golf balls smashed down leaving a path of destruction in its wake. Roofs were dented beyond repair, windows blown out and boats destroyed.
After the storm Local Property Owner, Cathy Denehy had inspectors out to assess her commercial property’s roof but because of highly reflective paint they couldn’t see the damage. Months went by and tenants kept reporting leaks. “Finally, an inspector figured out the problem – the highly reflective paint was hiding damage that had badly compromised the roof and gutter systems,” Cathy recalled.

“We were proud to replace the roof with no disruptions to the building’s tenants and took special care to maintain the safety of all pedestrians below,” said Zane. “By working closely with the local power company and adhering to the building code, the roof was safely replaced in a timely manner.”
In fact, Cathy was so impressed with the team’s workmanship that when she acquired another commercial property that needed a hail damaged roof replaced, she was happy to recommend Sensus.
